⏱ Trigger

Every weeknight (scheduled routine)

✋ Human approval

No approval during the run: limit the routine to the Linear and Slack connectors, forbid it from closing or deleting tickets, and review each run's session.

→ Output

Labelled, assigned Linear tickets + Slack summary every morning

Autonomy level 3 — Autonomous: Runs end to end on its own; only low-risk actions (read, notify, archive).

02What the agent does on its own

  1. step 01

Starts on schedule on Anthropic's cloud infrastructure, even with your laptop closed, and clones your GitHub repository.

  2. step 02

Reads, through the Linear connector, the tickets created since the last run.

  3. step 03

Adds labels and assigns an owner based on the area of code each ticket mentions.

  4. step 04

Posts a summary to Slack: new tickets, priorities, likely duplicates.

03Agent instructions

$ instructions.txt · replace the {VARIABLES}
> You triage the {PROJECT} backlog. List the Linear tickets of team {TEAM} created since the last run. For each one: add a label from {LABELS} and assign the owner of the code area mentioned according to {OWNERS_MAP} (if unsure, assign nobody); flag likely duplicates. Never close or delete a ticket. Then post a summary of at most 10 lines in #{SLACK_CHANNEL}.

04Limits and legal points

Research preview: behaviour and limits may change. According to Anthropic's announcement, the Pro plan allows 5 routines per day. Actions show up under your own identity (GitHub, Linear, Slack). A green status only means the session ran: check the outcome. Claude's documentation says the Slack connector is available on Team and Enterprise plans: check it is available on yours.
